Your First Visit
We welcome new friends. Here is what you can expect at your get
acquainted, new patient visit:
We'll take the time to know you, as well as your likes and dislikes
regarding past dental care. We'll carefully review your medical
history and past dental history. We will screen for oral cancer and
periodontal (gum) disease. From there, we will examine your teeth and
take any necessary x-rays and photos.
A second visit is usually used to begin dental cleanings and
discuss treatment options. We will work together to establish a
treatment plan that best meets your needs.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of
your visit:
- Any current X-rays
- A list of medications you are currently talking
- Any need for Antibiotic Premedication
If you have dental insurance, bring the necessary completed forms
IMPORTANT:
All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a
parent or guardian at the consultation visit. Please alert the office
if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to dental
surgery (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves
and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication
(i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.)
