Robinspool Dental Care Plan for Children
Our care plan for children enables you to spread the cost of
your family’s dental care. The scheme has been designed to meet the
needs of our younger patients with a new, more preventive
philosophy.
Participating in our scheme gives you all the benefits of similar
private treatment at a much-reduced cost.
- regular examinations
- personal care and attention
- spreading the cost of care
- prompt treatment
- enhanced quality of care
- reduction on normal private fees
- more time with the dentist
- family discounts
- insurance cover for emergencies while away from home,
accidents and trauma
How to join
Existing practice patients enrolling before 1st April 2006 will
be eligible to join the scheme without the need of a preliminary
examination. Other existing patients and new patients will be
invited to join if they are deemed to be suitable after their next
chargeable examination.
Paying for your membership
Paying for your dental care is easy by monthly standing order
from your bank or building society. Just complete the standing order
form, return it to us so that we can include a practice reference,
and let us know when you would like payments to start. Payments need
to be sent from your bank on the last day of the month.
Alternatively, you may wish to pay annually by cash, standing order,
cheque or by credit card however we can not process credit card
transactions by phone. A discount of 10% is offered to additional
members of the family enrolling in the scheme. The practice reserves
the right to cancel a patient’s enrolment if payment is more than
one month overdue.
The cost of the Plan will be reviewed at the beginning of each
year and you will be notified before 1st February each year of the
charges which will apply from the following 1st July. (This clause
does not apply to those enrolled in the scheme by 1st April 2006.)
Out of hours care
Patients who are members of the Plan remain entitled to necessary
care and treatment in an emergency out of practice hours. A fee will
be charged but remember that this is also covered by the insurance
policy.
The scheme incorporates insurance cover for treatment arising
from sports and other accidental injuries and trauma, as well as
emergencies arising while you are away from home.
Leaving the scheme
We hope that once you have enrolled you will continue to
participate in the scheme throughout your time as a patient of our
practice, but we appreciate that your circumstances may change and
so you may withdraw from the scheme at any time.
Withdrawal will be effected 1 complete calendar month after a
written notice is received at the practice (see clause 5 of the Care
Plan agreement). If fees are paid annually, upon withdrawal the
practice will make a refund proportional to the length of time
remaining to the end of the twelve-month period. For patients paying
monthly you will be responsible for for the cancellation of the
standing order.
